My money

You can add your payment accounts in the app. Accessing your account information requires your consent, which you may retract at any time.

This may be caused by a number of reasons, such as the banks technical solutions not being compatible with Horde. If you can’t find your bank in the list, tap search and enter the name of your bank. Enquires regarding banks can be sent to support@horde.app.

You can add your payment accounts in the app. Unfortunately it’s not possible to add other account types, for example savings accounts. We hope this will be possible at a later stage.

Yes, you can transfer money between your accounts.

This may vary depending on the country you reside in. The duration of a transfer often depends on a number of factors, such as the timing of the transfer, where the transfer is being made and if the transfer is made between accounts in the same bank or two different banks. You can usually find more information about this on your bank’s website.

Horde cannot stop or edit a payment once it’s initiated or approved. If you want to stop or edit a payment you must contact your bank directly.

There are many reasons why your payment fails, such as insufficient funds, filters your bank applies to certain transactions, or amount limitations. All enquiries regarding payments can be sent to support@horde.app. Please note that our support team only communicates and reply to requests received in English. Any requests received in other languages than English and Norwegian will not be prioritized.

Friendloan

Friend loan is a private loan agreement between friends, acquaintances and family. You agree on three simple things; loan amount, interest rate and payment period. You can also register existing loan agreements.

A private loan can be between friends, or for example parents who want to assist their children in the housing market. You agree on whether the interest rate should be set at zero, or for example the equivalent interest rate on a savings account. Horde does not allow friend loans with more than 10% interest.

To register a loan agreement the lender and the borrower must be registered users of the Horde app.

Our first users will get to try our services for free!

When creating the friend loan, payment can be made monthly or by end date. The app automatically creates a payment plan with installments and interest. Both parties can follow the development of the loan, and the loan can be paid ahead of time. If a payment is not made, the payment schedule is automatically adjusted accordingly.

The borrower will receive a reminder three days before the due date and one on the due date. You can also activate push notifications for these reminders.

No. We are working on a solution for automatic withdrawal, but as of today, the payment must be made manually.

You can defer a payment for up to one year at a time by pressing “Deferment”. Both parties must approve this.

Horde does not carry out credit checks of either parties in the agreement and can in no way guarantee a party’s ability to pay and / or willingness to pay.

If the other party deletes their profile Horde will still have the loan agreement available. If you require this information, please contact us at support@horde.app.

The interest is added to the loan and the loan is automatically adjusted with a new payment schedule.

No, the loan is only between the two of you. Horde is not a party to the agreement. Both parties are verified via Klarna and must approve the loan terms. A loan agreement between private individuals is legally binding.

No, you can not send a collection notice through the app.

You can choose whether you want to accept, reject or change the loan agreement. If you change the agreement, your request will be sent back to the other party. The friend loan agreement is not entered into until the loan agreement has been accepted.

You can choose to increase the loan amount by clicking on “Increase loan” or decrease by clicking on “Loan deduction”.

Yes, you can. Click “Change payment date” and select the desired date.

These are loans that have already been paid out, for example via online banking or cash.

This function can be used if you want to reduce a sum from the total amount. For example if a sum has been paid outside the app.

The annual interest rate is stated in the loan agreement. The monthly interest cost on the loan is calculated based on the loan balance at the beginning of the month. At the end of the month interest expense is added to the loan. A month is calculated from one payment date to the next payment date.

It is not possible to change the interest rate after the agreement has been entered into.

If you pay too much or too little on the loan, the monthly amount is automatically adjusted.

The interest is added monthly to the loan, the loan balance will gradually increase until payment. This allows you to see how much must be paid to complete the loan in full. There is also a fee for using the loan service.

You can repay the loan in full or partially at any time. The loan balance and monthly amount are continually adjusted.

Click “History” to see the payment history.

Please do not hesitate to contact us at support@horde.app. When you report a problem to our Support team include the friend loan ID, which you will find at the bottom of the page. Sending a screenshot or recording of the error can often help us resolve your issue. Please note that our support team only communicates and reply to requests received in English. Any requests received in other languages than English and Norwegian will not be prioritized.

Yes, you can. If you want to end the friend loan or set up a new loan, click “Cancel loan”. The friend loan will not be cancelled until the other party accepts the cancellation.
